Well, I'm currently sitting at T minus 6 hours, and I'm packed, prepared and ready to go.
A couple of things I wanted to note before I left y'all. Firstly, the photo situation - Due to the size of the photos my camera takes, and my lack of a laptop, photos won't be as plentiful as they were in last year's America Blog - I'm gonna play it by ear in regards to internet access, but I'd imagine I'll post a sorta 'picture of the day' when I do my (hopefully) daily blog. Secondly, if any of y'all need/want to drop me an email while I'm away, I'll be checking my gmail (cursaeed@gmail.com) and my monash uni (jgrus1@student.monash.edu) but not my hotmail on a regular basis.
Anyway, that's all for now, so I guess I'll see you on the other side!

For a variety of reasons (One of which being the fact that I'm leaving in just under a week), I now have an official itinerary for my trip. The observant amongst you may note that this is significantly different to the outline I posted a couple of days ago, but now that all of my flights are booked, I can say with a reasonable amount of certainty where I'll be at any given time in the next 4 weeks or so. So on with the list!

Well, second post really, but whatever.
At any rate, welcome, y'all to the Travel Log (Tlog?) for my 2007 trip to China.
First, some details - I'll be spending a total of 3 weeks away, leaving in exactly 2 weeks time, at 11:55PM on the 30th of January and returning on February the 20th.
While across there, I'll first spend 11 nights in Hong Kong, then fly to Shanghai for 8 nights, before flying back to Australia via Hong Kong.
Anyway, I'm gonna keep this brief, and introduce y'all to my "Must do" list for the trip - some of these probably won't make much sense, but I'm planning on crossing these things off the list as I do them, so expect explanations of most of the following items.
